World Environment Day: How to Dirtify Your Coffee

June 5th is World Environment Day – basically the one day a year everyone on Instagram pretends to be an eco-warrior. (We see you and your one reusable bag 🛍️)

At P&P, we prefer actually doing something. You’ve got the pods; here is how to make them vanish.

  • The "Where Does It Go?" Guide Our plant-based pods are designed to break down, but they need a little help from their friends:
  • The FOGO Bin (The VIP): If your council has a green Food Organics bin, toss the whole pod in. It breaks down in ~90 days – faster than most of our gym resolutions 🗑️
  • The Home Compost (The Nap): Backyard piles aren't as hot as industrial ones, so the pods will take a long, slow nap before turning into dirt 💤
  • The Worm Farm (The Picky Eater): Worms love the coffee but hate the "packaging." Tip the grounds out for them and bin the pod. (Grumpy worms are a major vibe killer)

Why Bother? Composting stops your morning brew from becoming a landfill heirloom. It’s basically saving the planet from your kitchen – no tree-hugging required.

Choose Your Own Eco-Adventure Whether you’re a Bezzera loyalist, a Florentino fan, or a Single Origin explorer, the result is the same. Every pod in our range is industrial compostable, so you can drink the world’s best coffee without leaving a trace behind ☕
